It is reported that the product name of the above recall is "IKEA IKEA" brand LETTAN LETTAN mirror, the production start and end date is from February 2020 to February 2021, the models are 70435301, 10435304, 70435315, 60435306, 60435311, and the production batch number is 2105 and before (including 2105).
The Shanghai market regulator pointed out that the reason for IKEA's recall of the mirror product was "the risk of cracking of wall-mounted accessories. After the mirror is installed on the wall, the cracking of wall-mounted accessories may cause the mirror to fall off, scratch the consumer, and have certain safety risks".
With regard to the recall measures for the above unqualified products, the Shanghai market supervision issued a document saying that consumers should immediately stop using them and contact IKEA to obtain free wall-mounted accessories. IKEA will publicly and widely release product recall information, including the official website of IKEA https://www.ikea.cn/ The IKEA member customers who purchase the product at the same time (who have purchased the product with IKEA membership card in the past five years, and maintain the correct and effective contact information) will receive a text message about the recall.
According to public information, IKEA (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was founded in July 2007. "IKEA IKEA" is a world-famous furniture brand from Sweden. Its products include baby and children's products, furniture, textiles, decorations, lamps and lighting, kitchen supplies and electrical appliances.
In addition, according to the enterprise investigation, IKEA has involved seven pieces of administrative penalty information, with a total penalty amount of 3.0495 million yuan, and the penalty items include the sale of unqualified products and the replacement of inferior products. In March 2022, IKEA was fined 497900 yuan for selling unqualified children's furniture.
